3,000-4,000 children and young people, as well as coaches, leaders and parents, helped make Friday afternoon and evening a fantastic day with many great memories and experiences.
The opening event started in rain and wind, which initially meant that the party was delayed and only the most water-loving participants found their way to the site. But as the afternoon progressed, the weather got better and better, and the afternoon ended up being sunny and dry, much to the delight of all participants, who grew in numbers throughout the day.
This year there were a lot of new activities at the opening event, but also a lot of returning guests from the last few years could be found on the Kulturværftet site, on the ravelin and at the Shipyard Food Market. This year there were visits from CoastZone, DBU Fanzone and many more.
After a slight delay, the many attendees were able to put on their dancing shoes and listen to a lot of Baloosh hits. The space in front of the stage was packed and there was a big rush for a selfie when the concert ended at 18:00.
The opening event ended with the big march through the inner city of Elsinore. The walk through the streets of Elsinore was traditionally filled with chants, clubs, banners and high spirits. So if the locals and tourists in the city didn't know it was the weekend of the Kronborg Cup - well, they were no longer in doubt.
We look forward to seeing you next year for another great party!
