Rows and vintages

In order to ensure that the tournament is as fair as possible, it is essential that teams are entered in the series and at the level that corresponds to their strength.

The tournament management reserves the right to move registered teams up or down in level.

As far as possible, the rows are divided into preliminary group games of 4 teams and then level-based playoffs (A no. 1-4; B no. 5-8; C no. 9-12; D no. 13-16). The rows are created with A and B level if there are more than 10 registered teams. If there are six or fewer teams in a bracket, a group stage will be played.

The following rows/years will be played in Kronborg Cup 2024:

Boys' row:

ReachesYearLevelPlaying time
11-man2008 & 20092 x 20 min.
11-man2010 & 2011A, B & C2 x 20 min.
8-man2011B/C2 x 15 min.
8-man2012, 2013 & 2014A, B & C2 x 15 min.
5-man2015, 2016 & 2017A, B & C2 x 12 min.
3-man (MIX)2018 & 2019*2 x 5 min.

Girls' stuff:

ReachesYearLevelPlaying time
11-man2009, 2010 & 2011A2 x 20 min.
8-man2009, 2010 & 2011B2 x 15 min.
8-man2012, 2013 & 2014A & B2 x 15 min.
5-man2015 & 2016/17A & B2 x 12 min.
3-man2018/2019*2 x 5 min.

Experience shows that there are many registrations in these rows for level B and C. If at least 20 teams register in these categories, an A final for all 1s and a B final for all 2s will be held on Sunday. In both play-offs, trophies will be awarded to the winners of the A and B play-offs, as well as medals to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The teams finishing 3rd or 4th in the preliminary pools of these divisions will play qualifying and ranking matches on Sunday.

* Kronborg El Cup for the little ones - the matches will be held on Friday, August 9th in connection with the opening event.
