Kronborg Special Kids Cup is a new football event designed for children and young people with special needs and challenges. Kronborg Special Kids Cup will be a customized, supportive and fun football event that focuses not only on competition and results, but also on building and supporting social interaction and friendships.
The tournament is for 5-man teams, respectively U15-mix (years 2010-2012) and U12-mix (years 2013-2015) and will be held on the same weekend August 9-11, 2024, as the other tournament. The matches are played on the courts at Snekkersten Idrætscenter, and it is possible to stay overnight at the local school in Snekkersten.
On Friday, it is possible to participate in the Kronborg Cup's Opening Event etc. at Kulturhavnen in Helsingør.
The initiative is supported by the Elsass Foundation and the Fog Foundation, so there is the possibility of a reduced price and financial support for transportation and accommodation.
Kronborg Special Kids Cup is carried out as part of the project En del af holdet in close collaboration between DBU, DBU's local unions and Parasport Denmark.

Kronborg Cup offers a special discount on accommodation at cost price and payment of transportation (bridge and ferry fees) for Special Kids.
Part of the team is a soccer program for children and young people with special needs. The project will give the children good experiences of playing football in a club on their own terms.
The initiative will help new teams get off the ground and support existing teams in making their offerings even better.
