Registration for this year's Kronborg Cup is now closed and all age groups and rows are fully booked. Teams on the waiting list will be contacted if there is a cancellation.
2023 is also the year when a new record will be set for the number of participants at Kronborg Cup. A total of 565 boys' and girls' teams from Denmark, Sweden and Finland are ready to visit Helsingør August 11-13.
"It is with great pleasure that 565 teams have signed up for Kronborg Cup. After some really tough years in 2020, 2021 and 2022, we are really happy to welcome so many children and young people to a festive weekend with a big opening event on Friday and a lot of matches on Saturday and Sunday. We look forward to seeing everyone at the facilities and in the city," says Frederik Hertz, Chairman of Kronborg Cup.
In fact, the demand has been so high this year that some teams are unfortunately on a waiting list and more schools and classrooms have been booked to accommodate the high interest.
"Of course, we really want everyone to come to Kronborg Cup. We use all available courts in Elsinore Municipality, and we are constantly trying to find solutions so that more people can participate. At the same time, we also try to secure more overnight accommodation so that everyone interested can get a place. Unfortunately, this is not possible for everyone, but we have therefore also set up a waiting list this year," says Frederik Hertz, chairman of Kronborg Cup.
