On Friday, August 7, the Kronborg Cup 2026 kicks off with the Kronborg El Cup at Helsingør Kulturhavn, where children born in 2020 and 2021 will have the opportunity to play soccer in a truly unique setting with Kronborg Castle as a backdrop.
The Kronborg El Cup is designed for children who are new to the world of soccer. It’s not about standings or results—it’s about smiles, physical activity, and shared experiences with teammates. The tournament is played 3-on-3 on grass within inflatable fields, so everyone is close to the ball and actively involved in the game at all times.
All teams play five matches with short playing times appropriate for their age group, and there are prizes for all participants. No one goes home empty-handed—and no one feels left out.

The Kronborg El Cup is held as an integral part of the Kronborg Cup’s grand opening event. This means that even the youngest players get to experience the excitement right from the start: music, activities, and plenty of games all around them, while the matches are played at a child-friendly level.
The meeting time is 1:45 p.m.; the first matches start at 2:00 p.m., and the tournament ends around 5:00 p.m.
The Kronborg El Cup is held in partnership with Kronborg El, Helsingør Municipality’s local electric utility, which supports local sports and cultural life. This partnership helps ensure that even the youngest players have a strong and professional setting for their soccer experience.
