📍 Kulturværftet, Allégade 2, 3000 Helsingør
The Shipyard Museum chronicles the era when the city’s shipyard built ships and the working class grew. The Helsingør Shipyard Museum tells the stories of hard work, noise, grime, pride, and solidarity in a bygone era when the shipyard whistle dictated the city’s rhythm of life. Economically, in terms of employment, socially, culturally, and politically, the shipyard was the natural focal point.
Guided Tour: Groups may visit outside regular hours by appointment. A guided tour led by a former shipyard worker costs 600 kr. for groups of up to 10 people and 800 kr. for groups larger than 10 people. Admission tickets are sold separately.
Shop: Inside the Shipyard Museum is a small shop where you can buy books, postcards, and films about the shipyard.
