Your life depends on seafaring. The world depends on seafaring. It has always been that way. Through seafaring—and the trade and cultural influences it brings—Denmark has always been connected to the rest of the world. It is this history and this present that are brought to life at the M/S Maritime Museum.
The modern architecture and the docks’ deep, open outdoor spaces—with free access for everyone—invite visitors to linger, enjoy a café, and take part in a variety of cultural events in collaboration with the neighbors, under the name“Kulturhavn Kronborg.”
The museum’s Knowledge Center houses archives, photographs, and a large maritime reference library. You can visit the Knowledge Center at the museum orhere.
The museum also features special exhibition halls, conference rooms, a café, a gift shop, and administrative offices.
