The Danish Museum of Technology

📍 Fabriksvej 25, 3000 Helsingør

The Danish Museum of Technology – 100 Years with Technology at the Center

For a hundred years, Denmark has had a museum dedicated to telling the story of technological development. Today, the museum is located in Helsingør.

Since 1911, when the Craftsmen’s Association and the Danish Industrial Association founded the Danish Museum of Technology, curious Danes have been able to follow the historical technological developments that humanity has invented and developed over the centuries. The museum was previously located on Strandvejen, but has now moved to premises at Fabriksvej 25 in Helsingør, which formerly housed the Helsingør Shipyard Foundry.

Among other things, the museum displays old airplanes, vintage cars, bicycles, computers, telephones, and many other technological artifacts in its 8,000-square-meter facility.
