Tournament Rules and Exemptions for the Kronborg Cup

The Kronborg Cup is played in accordance with the Laws of the Game/FIFA rules, with the following additions:

- A player may only be listed on one team card.

- A 5-minute temporary ejection is used instead of warnings.

- Unlimited substitutions are allowed in all lines within the permitted number of players.

- The tournament office determines the length of the suspension following a direct red card; this decision is final and cannot be appealed.

NOTE: Should a thunderstorm or other severe weather conditions arise during the Kronborg Cup that make it unsafe or impossible to play soccer, it is up to the local tournament organizers to decide how the tournament will proceed.

Exemptions

As a general rule, the Kronborg Cup follows the DBU Sjælland exemption regulations, etc.

As a general rule,nomore thantwo"over-age" players may be used per game, but exemptions may be granted to a few players per team.

Exemptions or exemption provisions must be verifiable to the tournament organizers (photo ID).

Applications for exemptions must be submitted no later than August 1, 2026, to: info@kronborgcup.dk

The names of players or other information regarding "Other Exemptions" will be made public, and all players must be able to identify themselves with a passport or other valid photo ID during the tournament—a copy of such identification is sufficient.
